Starting a project

I am interested in working with PSG—how do we get started?

Contact PSG via phone or email to start a discovery conversation. You can share your projects goals with us and we can provide more information about the services we provide.

After sharing my project requirements, how soon will I receive a quote?

We can typically quote your project within one business day. Large program quotes may take additional time.

Do you require a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to start work?

We do not require an NDA for a project start. We can execute an NDA for any customer who requires this documentation. We can provide our standard NDA or review the NDA provided by your company. No matter the case, your records are always secure and confidential with us.

Project Duration/Lead Times

How soon can I get my project completed?

We define lead time as the time between the initiation and completion of your project. Lead times are determined at the time of quoting. Circumstances that effect project lead times include receipt of final CAD files, the completeness of the project details, receipt of Purchase Order if required, receipt of unique raw materials, and PSG workload at the time of order. Expediting options are available for an additional charge.

Preparing for your project / file preparation

Do you offer product design services?

We offer CAD assistance to projects as needed but we do not offer product design services. We would be happy to refer you to one of our trusted partners upon request.

What types of files should I send?

We can work with a multitude of files; order of preference is listed below. We are happy to discuss specific import/export options as needed.

  5. IGES (.igs), (.iges)
  6. STL (.stl)

How can I transfer files to PSG?

Files can be sent via email. For large files, we use WeTransfer.com. To request further instructions for WeTransfer or to discuss other transfer options, please contact us.

Quality Assurance & Certifications

How do you handle quality specifications?

Quality specifications are project dependent at the request of our client. Standards are defined and agreed upon at the time of order. First Article Inspection services are available for an additional charge.

Can I request material certifications for my project?

Yes, please make your certification requests at the time of order.

Other

My preferred material is not listed on your website. Can you purchase custom materials?

Yes, so long as you can provide the specific material name and a minimum of one source for purchase.

Do you perform secondary operations on production parts?

Yes, we offer secondary operations within all of our capabilities.

Are you registered with ITAR?

Yes, PSG has been ITAR registered since 2016. Please contact us to request a copy of our ITAR Registration Letter.
